Best monitors for about $500 (australian), Behringer Truths?

Hi all. Im looking for a decent set of powered monitors for my home Mbox2, Pro Tools LE setup. Can anyone recommend any in the range of $500 to $1000?

Just over AUD$1,000.00. Very good bang:buck ratio, I plan to get a pair later this year.

Maybe a little over your budget, as you mentioned, but I just picked up a pair of dynaudio Bm5A's and they are incredible !! 'Bout $1000 for the pair.

Hey guys ! Anyone can read ! HE WANTS MONITORS CIRCA 500! AND INFO ABOUT B Truth ! I've already heard the Truth B2031A and they sound very good for that price.Personaly they sound a bit too boomy and aren't critical for the midrange but still...big sound at that price. There is another pair that works very well, one of my friend lent it to me once it from Mackie but the brand name is different and I can't put the real name on it.They are for sure under 500.I remember it's called Tapco by Mackie, there are different model.Prodipe makes some very good things aswell especially Prodipe Pro 8 active.I can't tell you exactly the price cause I'm French and we are in Euros, I don't know the exact currency.But it's roughly around round budget.
