MPEG2REPAIR virus Generic.dx?

All of a sudden McAfee today scans mpeg2repair.exe as Generic.dx 9/13/2008 5:31:02 PM Deleted F:\tools\mpeg2repair\mpeg2repair.exe Generic.dx Yes also tried to redownload from source: Any other tool that can check a .ts for errors? (mod: please put this in a proper thread if this is not it)

"Generic.dx" sounds to me like some borked heuristic failed, so most likely it's a false positive. I often get "Generic" or "Packed" hits for my very own software :rolleyes:

Does McAfee have an exclude list you can use to have it ignore known false positives?
